PPR essential to non-radioACFT. Circuit and instrument training can be pre-booked with ATC. Non-radio ACFT join overhead at 1500ft QNH. Helicopter training flights operating at 700ft QFE and below might not comply with normal R/T procedure. Helicopter circuits will normally operate from a grass area (as directed by ATC) circuit height 700ft QFE (except at night when main Rwy is used). Pilots required to book-out by telephone. An ATC GMC service in use during busy periods when notified by NOTAM. GMC is for booking out. A careful lookout should be maintained at all times. ATC instructions will specify the taxi route to be followed. Light ACFT are to self manoeuvre for parking only if instructed by ATC.

Adhere to standard RTF procedures. ACFT with a wingspan in excess of 18m may require marshalling when taxiing. Regular bird scaring. Due to close proximity of Birmingham AD, pilots must ensure their flight remains clear of Birmingham CTR/CTZ, unless ATC clearance is issued.
