Fly serenely above the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, take in the breathtaking views and see famous landmarks from a bird's-eye view. The instructors have hundreds of hours experience and are keen to pass on their flying knowledge. The school is regulated by the CAA and BMAA, ensuring that you will have a safe, memorable experience. This is a great introduction to microlighting and counts towards total flying hours should you decide to pursue this marvellous hobby in future.
Upon arrival at the airfield you will be introduced to your flight instructor who will brief you about the aircraft. You will have the opportunity to ask any questions your flight. Take a seat in the cockpit and check that you feel comfortable. All equipment will be provided on the day; you will be wearing a headset so that you can talk over the intercom, a helmet may be necessary depending on the microlight you choose to fly. The instructor will taxi the aircraft to the runway and run through some of the knobs and switches in the cockpit, there is a final safety check and then its take-off time. Once airborne the control will be passed over, you are free to fly the aircraft for as much of the lesson as you are comfortable with. The instructor will land and then it's off for a well deserved cup of tea.
