Try gliding and experience the extraordinary sensations of speed and silence that come from flying in one of these spectacular and graceful craft. Your trial lesson will last between 15 and 30 minutes depending on the weather conditions in which time you will learn how to turn and manoeuvre the glider and perhaps even have a go at taking the controls yourself.

Agenda

The activity takes place in a dual controlled glider accompanied by a fully qualified instructor. Please note that at the Warwickshire location a self launching glider is used. On arrival at the venue you will be given a safety briefing then it 's up, up and away! The glider will be towed into the air by a powered aircraft or winch up to a height of around 2000ft and then released to soar over the beautiful countryside. Your instructor will demonstrate the controls of the glider and you may have a go at flying it yourself if you wish. Please note that gliding is extremely weather dependent; it is impossible to predict the length of your flight but it should last between 15 and 30 minutes. Every effort will be made to ensure that you get the best and safest flight for the conditions.
