Tandem Skydive - UK Wide

This tandem skydive is up to 12,000 ft of pure adrenaline

<p >The ultimate adrenalin experience! After a twenty five minute nail biting plane ride to reach the required altitude, the roar of the engines softens and you realise your time has come, it's now or never as you are over the drop zone. What follows is up to 7,000ft of freefall at speeds of around 120mph strapped securely to a qualified instructor. At 5000ft the instructor deploys the parachute and you float gently into the landing zone. </p><p ><a href="http://www.buyagift.co.uk/Common/Client/ProductSheets/en-GB/Form%20115B%20Student%20Tandem%20Medical%20Advice%20Form.pdf" target="_blank">Please click here to print out and complete the Declaration of Fitness to fly forms (1)</a></p><a href="http://www.buyagift.co.uk/Common/Client/ProductSheets/en-GB/Form%20115A%20Student%20Tandem%20Medical%20Information%20and%20Declaration.pdf" target="_blank"><p >Please click here to print out and complete the Declaration of Fitness to fly forms (2)</p></a>

Terms and Conditions
Following a short pre-jump briefing you will be provided with a skydivers jump suit to go over your clothes (you should wear comfortable clothing such as a track suit and trainers). Then after fitting a tandem parachute harness (and appropriate headgear and goggles) the jump plane will take 20-25 minutes to reach the required altitude - then it's out in to the blue!
Your voucher is valid for ten months. Weight limits between centres will vary between 14.5 stone and 15 stone (at the Devon location a surcharge may be paid for weights up to 18 stone). At the Wiltshire location you will jump from approx 10,000ft. At the Lancaster location the height is 11,000ft. At the Peterborough location, the weight limit is 15 stone. Your weight will be checked on the day of the course. Please note the Lincolnshire location is available Monday-Friday only. For those under 18 years of age a separate signed letter of consent from a parent or guardian will be required before training commences. You will be required to complete and sign a 'Declaration of Fitness' to Parachute before training commences (this will be provided when your booking is confirmed). The minimum age for sport parachuting is 16 years. For those less than 18 years of age a separate signed letter of consent from a Parent or Guardian will be required before training commences. Please note that all participants are to self declare level of fitness to partake in the experience, these forms are 115A and 115B. If you are unable to self-declare these forms, due to the terms of the form, you are required to take form 115b to your doctor to sign. These forms can be found here for 115A and here for 115B. You will also need a 'BPA Declaration of Fitness Form 115' if you have suffered from any of the following: Previous fractures, back strain, arthritis and severe joint sprains. Chronic bronchitis, Asthma, Rheumatic fever, Pneumothorax, Liver or kidney disease, Thyroid, adrenal or other glandular disorder. Chronic ear or sinus disease or any condition which requires the regular use of drugs. Anaemia or have recently donated blood. This will need to be done no less than 7 days in advance of your experience via the customers personal page. The balance should be settled prior to arrival. No person over the age of 50 years will normally be accepted for novice parachute training, other than for Tandem Skydives, where high ages may be acceptable. Exceptions to this rule may be allowed if the candidate either has previous experience or is of a high standard of fitness and can convince the Instructor of that fitness. You will not be allowed to undertake parachute training if you have ever suffered from any of the following medical conditions, unless you and your Doctor have obtained the prior approval of the Medical Advisor to the British Parachute Association (who may be contacted via the address on the 'Declaration of Fitness' form): Epilepsy, fits, severe head injury, recurrent blackouts or giddiness, disease of the brain or nervous system, high blood pressure, heart or lung disease, recurrent weakness or dislocation of any limb, diabetes, mental illness, drug or alcohol addiction. Customers will currently need to pay a compulsory BPA membership fee of approximately £25 on the day of their experience (this does not apply at the Lincolnshire location). Upgrades for higher sky dives are available but must be arranged no less than 7 days prior to taking your experience via your personal page. The balance must be settled prior to arrival.
