30 Minute Helicopter Flight

This 30 minute helicopter trial lesson is a great way to get a taste for flying. On this experience, due to the size of the Helicopter you can even take two friends along for the ride! In every trial lesson the student has the opportunity to take control. Tuition is usually in a Robinson R44. All training helicopters have dual controls so the instructor can safely demonstrate and monitor the handling of the aircraft.

After arrival at the helicopter centre your trial lesson starts with a ground briefing session and an introduction to the effects of the controls, then it 's time for take off!! Your instructor will demonstrate forward flight, the art of hovering and the unique manoeuvrability of a helicopter before you will be given the chance to do some hands on flying of your own. All students are presented with a commemorative certificate to remember the day.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months. You can expect to spend about 2 hours at your venue (1 hour at the Leicestershire location).  Be sure to book in advance to ensure a mutually convenient time.  All flight time counts towards a licence should you decide to continue training.  There are no age or height restrictions for this experience. Maximum weight is 21 stones.
