Clench Common Airfield is a small, private airfield near Marlborough in Wiltshire. Home to a busy flying school and club, it offers a challenging airspace for budding aviators to learn to fly over the North Wessex Downs. Hidden in the most rural part of Wiltshire, this is the perfect location to see the beautiful countryside from above. Easily accessible from Swindon and Reading via the M4 and with Flying Experiences and Flying Lessons available, what are you waiting for?
The airfield was originally part of the Estuary area of RAF Overton Heath. This area was built as a training base to train new pilots. It was closed in 1948, and the land was transformed back into farming until it became Clench Common Airfield.
Please remember that Flying Experiences are dependent on weather conditions, so at times may need to be rescheduled.
