This route will take you along the River Sid to Sidmouth and through the red cliffs to Budleigh Salterton, where you’ll want to pause briefly and get your camera out as this is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty known for the impressive deep-red orange rocks. Throughout the flight, the pilot will drop down to 1000 ft so you can get a close up look of the landscape, and hopefully after getting some memorable snaps, the flight will then follow the Otter River over to Ottery St Mary, a quaint, picturesque town in South Devon. Not only is this flight a photographer’s dream due to the stunning views you simply can’t get from exploring on foot, but a nature lover’s idea of heaven as you witness the dramatic Devon cliffs from the air.
