Our latest release of booking numbers showed that the country had lost that loving feeling for planes, during a year which was dominated by Top Gun's popularity on the screens, with the most popular package booked overall being our Tactical Helicopter Flying Lesson for One, building on its popularity in 2021.
The experience provides customers with the chance to take the controls of a helicopter while under the careful guidance and supervision of an onboard instructor during three separate short flights.

With flying lessons coming in at number one, the other four top spots were held by helicopter experiences that provide customers with an opportunity to see various cities and landmarks across the country from a different perspective.

The budget beating Blue Skies Experience for One or For Two people, both get hearts pounding as a pilot takes customers through the sky in a jet powered helicopter, while pointing out various sights. Flights over the UK's capital with the City of London Helicopter Tour for Two also proved popular in 2022 with it seeing a rise in bookings compared to 2021.
