Experience the freedom of flight with a 2.5 Hour Landaway Half Day Flying Experience from Popham Airfield in Hampshire. Offering an extended microlighting adventure, this experience combines spectacular views, hands-on flying and the excitement of landing at another airfield. Setting off from Popham, you will take to the skies in a flex-wing microlight and enjoy incredible views across Hampshire and beyond. Depending on the route and flying conditions, you could soar over Winchester, the coastline and the beautiful North Wessex Downs before making a landaway stop at another airfield. The microlight school is led by Chief Flying Instructor Ian MacAdam, who has been flying hang gliders and microlights since 1987. You will fly in one of the school's impressive microlights, such as the open-cockpit GT450 or semi-enclosed PulsR, for an exhilarating flying experience. More than simply a scenic flight, your experience is treated as a genuine flying lesson following the NPPL(M) syllabus. You will learn how the aircraft and controls work and have the opportunity to take the controls yourself under expert guidance.
