Gliding High in the East Midlands
Flying in a glider is a very unique flying day to say the least. It is considered by many pilots to be the purest form of flight, and FlyDays affords you the opportunity to head skywards for a once in a lifetime experience.
With just the birds (and your pilot!) for company, you'll be lifted higher and higher by the warm thermals as the world below passes quietly by. It is a truly mesmerising experience and one that you won't want to end, but what goes up must come down and your pilot will bring you gently back to earth.
This is also a fantastic flying experience for young aviation enthusiasts to enjoy, as some of our Gliding days are suitable for those aged 14 and up - it may even be the beginning to them embarking on a promising career or hobby in flight.

Why not see the East Midlands from a unique perspective in a helicopter? Because a helicopter can hover, it can give its occupants unrivalled views, without moving as an aeroplane needs to.
However, helicopters are also capable of fast speeds and soon you could be zooming at over 120mph across Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire or the surrounding areas. A helicopter flight experience provides a full-on adrenaline rush but in all the excitement allows the passenger time to also enjoy the stunning views.
And with your on-board pilot acting as your tour guide on many of our Helicopter Ride packages, you can be sure you won't miss a single sight or landmark on offer.
Hot Air Ballooning in the East Midlands
Humans first took to the skies in hot air balloons more than 200 years ago. Their sheer size, majesty and gracefulness still make them one of the most relaxing ways to be airborne.
Taking to the basket of a balloon in the East Midlands is definitely a must-tick bucket list item. Float softly with your fellow passengers and enjoy the rolling scenery from a bird's eye perspective, as the sun gently rises or sets above the world below you.
Some of our balloon flights even offer a nice glass of champagne with which to toast the flight once you land, making this the perfect surprise to celebrate an anniversary, Birthday or any other special occasion with.
Just Plane Crazy
