Little Gransden Airfield Flying Experiences
Situated in the quiet Cambridgeshire village of Little Gransden, Little Gransden Airfield is half an hour away from Cambridge and just 20 minutes away from the market town of St Neots, and is based in the grounds of Fuller's Hill Farm. Comprising primarily grass runways, it is on one of these (Runway 28) that you will be able to see the remains of the runways from when the site was RAF Tempsford, a top secret airfield that was operated by the Special Operations Executive during World War II.
Microlight Flying Experiences
Aside from this bit of hidden history, for those who are looking for some fantastic Flying Experiences in the East of England, Little Gransden offers plenty for light aviation enthusiasts. For starters it's one of 20 locations across the UK that offers Microlighting Lessons. Run and approved by the British Microlight Aircraft Association, on either a 30 minute or 60 minute session you'll get to experience taking the controls on either a fixed wing or flexi-wing aircraft.
Flying Lessons
There's also the opportunity to go chocks away on a 30 minute flying lesson in a traditional fixed wing aeroplane if you don't fancy being exposed to the elements whilst mid-air! Led by expert instructors, this amazing oppertunity is a great way to learn something completely new, in fact, Flying session times actually count towards a Private Pilots Licence (PPL) so its a perfect gift for any budding pilot.

Terms and Conditions for Little Gransden Airfield
Once you order a voucher, it will be dispatched by one of our agency partners by e-voucher or by post, depending on which you choose when you checkout.
Vouchers are valid until the expiry date shown on your Voucher (typically 10-12 months).
In most cases, once you activate your voucher you will be sent the instructions to redeem the voucher directly with the airfield or operator. Because flying experiences (other than simulators) can only take place in suitable/ safe weather conditions, you must be prepared to be flexible on your activity date. If the agent or operator cancels your experience date, they will inform you as soon as possible and do their very best to offer an alternative date or location. Once a specific date has been booked, you will automatically become bound by the terms and conditions that the individual operator may have. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the descriptions contained on our products are a true reflection of the experience, these do not form part of a contract. If on contacting the operator you feel that the activity taking place no longer accurately represents the activity purchased, the relevant agent will exchange the voucher or refund the purchase price.
