Founded in 1969, Damyns Hall Aerodrome is located just outside Upminster and Hornchurch on the border where Essex meets London. An unlicensed airfield, it is based nearer the former site of RAF Hornchurch, and as it is just inside the M25 and 5 minutes from Upminster rail and tube stations, it has fantastic transport links as well.
