Henstridge Airfield
Henstridge Airfield opened in 1943, commissioned to be home to Typhoons, Seafires, Spitfires and Masters, which operated at the airfield until the end of the war. The airfield has welcomed many aero residents in its lifetime but has never ceased flying since its beginnings. Only one of the original 5 runways has survived to present day but the airfield is now host to many flying experiences.
