Enstone Airfield Flying Experiences
The countryside around Oxfordshire, and the nearby Cotswolds and Gloucestershire is some of the most beautiful in all the British Isles. What better way therefore, to enjoy it then from the air? Enstone Airfield offers you the opportunity to do just that. It is also steeped in aviation history. The Airfield is a very conveniently located base for fantastic Flying Experiences and is a popular destination with aviation fans.
It is located a stone’s throw from Banbury and within easy reach of the M40 motorway and the A44. More importantly, it is nestled amongst the rolling English countryside, meaning flying above some of the quaintest villages and scenery in the whole of the UK.
Flying Lessons
For some amazing hands on experience, Flying Lessons at Enstone make a brilliant gift for the budding pilots in your life. With up to three hour sessions available, how about you book a fantastic learning experience for your loved ones? Our 30 minute aeroplane flying lesson for one in a two seater aeroplane is the perfect introduction to the amazing world of flying. As well as being an incredible experience, it can also actually count as your first steps towards a Private Pilot’s Licence. Other highlights include a short flight briefing by your instructor and, of course, actually being able to take the controls and fly the aeroplane. A signed certificate highlighting your achievements tops off the perfect package.
After you’ve been bitten by the aviation bug, then the next step is to try our 60 minute aeroplane flying lesson for one in a two seater aeroplane. Your confidence will grow with more time in the air, and your trained instructor will explain all aspects of the flight ensuring you are learning while having great fun. Once again, the experience can count towards a Private Pilot’s Licence, and a signed certificate will be yours to keep forever.
Gyrocopter Flying Experiences
If your a fan of Rotary Aircraft, why not try a Gyrocopter Flying Experience! These unique aircraft are like a mix of a Helicopter and a Hang Glider in a Light Sport Aircraft fashion. They are a spectacular choice for sightseeing journeys and are known as simple and reliable. If your willing, your pilot may even hand the controls to you during your flight so you can give it a spin. With an option of 30 minute flight or 90 minutes, this is the perfect gift for adventurous souls. Terms and Conditions for Enstone Airfield
Once you order a voucher, it will be dispatched by one of our agency partners by e-voucher or by post, depending on which you choose when you checkout.
Vouchers are valid until the expiry date shown on your Voucher (typically 10-12 months).
In most cases, once you activate your voucher you will be sent the instructions to redeem the voucher directly with the airfield or operator. Because flying experiences (other than simulators) can only take place in suitable/ safe weather conditions, you must be prepared to be flexible on your activity date. If the agent or operator cancels your experience date, they will inform you as soon as possible and do their very best to offer an alternative date or location. Once a specific date has been booked, you will automatically become bound by the terms and conditions that the individual operator may have. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the descriptions contained on our products are a true reflection of the experience, these do not form part of a contract. If on contacting the operator you feel that the activity taking place no longer accurately represents the activity purchased, the relevant agent will exchange the voucher or refund the purchase price.
