Our flying school, located at Prestwick Airport, boasts a comprehensive air traffic control service and hosts a variety of domestic, international, cargo, and military flights. Established in 1944, the centre’s rich history traces back to Redbare House, which was operated by a diverse team of British, Canadian, and American military personnel during World War Two. At the Prestwick Flight Centre, you'll find an array of aircraft, from the versatile two-seater Cessnas to the Piper PA28s and the Grumman AA5A. These are renowned training planes used in flight schools worldwide, praised for their ease of handling, ruggedness, and reliability. With their straightforward controls, you'll have the chance to take the reins for much of the flight, adding to the excitement of your experience. Before you soar into the skies, you'll have a brief but informative session with your instructor. During this time, you can discuss where you'd like to go and what sights you'd love to see.
