Those of us of a certain vintage who grew up watching the iconic cult TV series M*A*S*H will love this exciting opportunity to learn to fly a classic Bell 47 helicopter that will make you feel like you're part of the show! Over at Mid Wales Airport in Powys, this 20 minute vintage flying lesson voucher will get you flying the Bell 47 which is kitted out in a khaki livery similar to the army helicopter that was used in the series, that transported patients to the 'Mobile Army Surgical Hospital', overseen by surgeon Benjamin 'Hawkeye' Pierce. Of course, being a helicopter used in the 60s and 70s, it may lack a lot of the technological advancements we're familiar with today, but it doesn't scrimp on enjoyment because these are actually very nimble machines to fly. And for heritage aviation enthusiasts - or fans of M*A*S*H - this is one flying session which is pure bucket list material!
