About the experience

If you or a loved one are based in Hampshire, and have designs on learning to fly, this great value bundle of fixed wing aircraft flying lessons could be just what you're looking for. Airbourne Aviation is a leading flying school, based out of Popham Airfield, a short distance of less than 20 minutes away from Basingstoke and with a vibrant flying community but not so busy as to be overwhelming for a first time pilot. Over the course of 3 x 1 hour lessons, you'll take flight in a Ikarus C42 light sports aircraft, and learn not just the basics of flying and piloting a light aircraft, but also just how much fun it can be up in the air. The C42 is the ideal aircraft to learn to fly in - it's versatile, super light and incredibly stable. And the good thing about this package is that, because you have three lessons included, you can learn a little bit more at your own pace, as you gradually build in confidence under the guidance of your highly qualified flying instructors. You'll be following the NPPL syllabus in your lessons, and will also be supplied with a pilot's logbook and aircraft inspection checklist. You will also receive a classroom briefing with your instructor in addition to your flying time. And best of all, your lessons will be logged in your logbook, and will count towards your learning you need to complete in order to obtain your PPL (Private Pilot's Licence).
