About the experience
If you or a devoted soap opera fan in your life love one of Britain’s longest running, Emmerdale, then this is your chance to take flight above the famous set of the ITV soap for a helicopter tour! Having just celebrated its 50th anniversary, this is a really special gift idea for Emmerdale fans, as you’ll take off from nearby Elvington Airfield in North Yorkshire for this flight of approximately 45 minutes, that not only includes views over the historic cathedral city of York, but also the majestic country pile of the Lascelles family, Harewood House (also well known as a filming location for both Brideshead Revisited and Victoria), before you come swooping in for real over that familiar little village nestled in the dales that you’ll have seen at the start of every Emmerdale episode ever made, spotting the Main Street, the Woolpack pub and many other key landmarks from the show.
