Get ready to experience the thrill of Microlighting over the stunning landscapes of Herefordshire! Located at the lively Shobdon Airfield, this microlight flight training school and club offers a variety of exciting opportunities to soar through the skies in both flex and fixed-wing microlight aircraft. Start your adventure with our classic microlight taster lessons, which include 60-minute flights. Take in the breathtaking scenery, including Clee Hill and the Marches, and even get the chance to take control yourself. You have the option to fly in either a fixed or flex-wing microlight during this lesson. After your flight, relax at the on-site cafe and observe the bustling activity at Shobdon Airfield, where parachuting, gliding, helicopters, and light aircraft operators thrive alongside our microlight school. Additionally, the camping and caravan site, set amidst cider apple orchards, and nearby charming pubs make it perfect for a weekend of unforgettable microlighting in Herefordshire.

- Minimum age 14
- Under 18s must be accompanied on the airfield by an adult
- Maximum weight 15 stone 10lbs (100kg)
- Weekday and weekend dates throughout the year, subject to availability and weather conditions
- Participants should telephone on the morning of their flight to confirm conditions are suitable

Minimum Age: 14 years
- Bring along a camera for some great photo opportunities (you must have a suitable lanyard on your camera)
- Only one person may take the flight (including the combo option)
- Home-cooked food and refreshments can be purchased from the on-site cafe, open 7 days a week
- Spectators are welcome to come along and watch the take-off and landing
