About the experience

With flights available throughout the UK at your choice of location, there are endless options for you to explore if you’re keen to get yourself into the skies. These flights aim to give you the most extensive flying experience possible as you are involved in the preflight briefing and talked through the basic controls before finally getting airborne. With the pilot taking care of take off and landing, there’s no need to stress about tricky maneuvers as you sit back, and enjoy the feeling of straight flying as you inevitably take in the picturesque surrounding landscape, wherever you are in the UK. If you know someone else who is keen to get some experience in the skies, why not invite them along for the lesson too? In this lesson you will be flying a four seater aircraft which conveniently allows room for a friend or family member to join you in the cabin. With plenty of schools across the UK offering this lesson, you are bound to discover somewhere near you, and luckily you don’t have to decide straight away as you can purchase a nationwide voucher that can be redeemed at a venue of your choice later down the line. - Under 18s must be accompanied on the airfield by an adult
- Please bring two forms of identity including a photo id, e.g. a passport
- Flight lessons are all at Civil Aviation Authority approved clubs

- Flying classes are usually available on weekdays and weekends throughout the year, subject to favourable weather conditions
- Although time slots are allocated please be aware that aircraft lessons are subject to a number of factors which may potentially cause delay to your scheduled time
- Whilst every effort will be made to help keep you on time we ask for a degree of latitude owing to the nature of flying, air traffic delays and weather considerations
- Visitors are welcome to come and watch the take off and landing
- It may be possible for a friend or family member, who is also interested in flying classes, to sit in the back of the plane and listen in on headphones (min age 14)
- This is at the discretion of the instructor on the day and subject to weight restrictions. There is currently a charge for this at Cheltenham and Welshpool venues
