This powerful simulator is built from a real jet fighter cockpit that once flew under the codename RED 47 in the Romanian Air Force. Before taking off, you will be suited up in a genuine RAF flight suit and seated in the cockpit with a full-face fighter pilot helmet and an oxygen mask with an integrated intercom system. Embrace the Top Gun spirit by choosing your own call sign! The simulator provides a truly immersive experience with its realistic cockpit canopy and picture-real images. You'll have the opportunity to carry out all the pilot duties, including flying out of RAF Valley, making low-level swoops over valleys, and enjoying high-speed sightseeing over towns and cities. Every detail, from the original dials, switches, and gauges to the thunderous rumble of the engines, has been meticulously recreated. No previous flight training is required to pilot this Top Gun simulator, as you will be supported by a qualified pilot. Additionally, you can explore the static collection of aircraft, including a Vampire T11, a Trident flight deck, and a 1940s Link trainer aircraft. - Minimum age 14
- Minimum height 5ft
- You must be able to climb into the cockpit
- The simulator is not recommended if you have heart problems, are pregnant or have a fear of confined spaces
- Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year
- Sessions are available from 10:00 to 17:00
- The centre is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day (open on all other Bank Holidays)
