About the experience

An AFF level skydiving course in Lincolnshire offers the fastest path to becoming a skydiver! We provide vouchers for the Level 1 Accelerated Freefall Courses at Hibaldstow Airfield, conducted over two days, including a jump from 15,000ft. What sets accelerated freefall apart from tandem skydiving? During your AFF course, you make the jump with your instructors nearby but not attached, so you experience freefall independently—an incredible experience. Throughout the two days, our highly-experienced Lincolnshire-based instructors will teach you everything needed to jump solo. The course is intensive and comprehensive, perfect for those seeking a real challenge. All ground school teachers are qualified AFF instructors certified by British Skydiving. The curriculum combines theory and practical skills, covering topics from identifying the drop zone from the air to monitoring your altitude. You’ll also learn when and how to deploy your parachute and execute safe landings. After ground training, you’ll ascend in the school’s plane over Hibaldstow. Once you’re briefed on exiting, you’ll be prepared—and possibly nervous—before making your jump. At the signal, it’s your turn. Leaving the aircraft is your moment, with your instructors beside you. This is your chance to experience freefall solo—woohoo! For thrill-seekers, our two-day AFF courses at Hibaldstow Aerodrome in Lincolnshire are an exhilarating adventure.

Information

  • Minimum age 16 (parental consent needed for age 16/17)
  • Maximum age for AFF is 55
  • Weight restrictions: min 7 stone, max 15 stone (fully clothed) - BMI must be no more than 27.5
  • Height restrictions: min 5ft 2ins depending on your BMI ratio
  • Solo students over the age of 40 are required to have a BPA fitness form signed and stamped by a doctor

  • Selected dates throughout the year
  • Courses generally operate on Mondays/Tuesdays during the summer months and Wednesdays/Thursdays for the remainder of the year
  • Day One: 08.45 registration for 09:00 start, finishing between 17:00 and 19:00
  • Day Two: 08.44 start, finish time is dependent on weather*

* If, for some reason, your jump cannot go ahead, you must return and jump within 6 weeks for safety reasons
