Bath City Helicopter Sightseeing Tour
About the experience
Beat the crowds and explore Bath from thousands of feet up in the air on this exclusive helicopter sightseeing tour! A recognised UNESCO World Heritage Site and spa city, Bath is shrouded in heritage and grandeur, with its famous sites and landmarks dating back to the Romans in AD 60, with their famous thermal baths and temples. And of course, fans of either Bridgerton on Netflix or the new Wonka film will recognise much of the city, as it has been used for numerous filming locations for both of these. You'll get to see many spas, buildings and squares from a bird's eye view, and chart the progress of the city through its original Roman roots to the splendour of the Georgian era, which utilised Bath stone to construct those instantly recognisable terraced villas in their perfectly formed circular shapes, and witnessing the Royal Crescent and the Circus really helps you appreciate the scale and elegance of it all. You'll also get to see some sights of the present day, including the Thermae Bath Spa, with its distinctive glass frontage designed by Nicholas Grimshaw, the Bath Rugby Club ground, as well as one of Bath's most photographed and famous landmarks, the Pulteney Bridge, believed to have been built from a rejected design for the Rialto Bridge in Venice. This fantastic aerial tour of Bath will certainly help you see the sights and get your bearings like never before!
