About the experience
Experience the thrill of flying in a gyrocopter but without the buffeting of the wind on this 15 minute flying lesson at Rochester Airport near Chatham in Kent. The Cavalon is a unique model in that, unlike other gyrocopters, it's a closed cockpit, which is wider and means you'll be enjoying a side-by-side flight with your instructor. But, this is better, because it means you've got a more unobstructed view of the controls so you can see what they're doing more clearly. And, because the Cavalon is dual control, you'll also get to take control and fly this amazing autogyro yourself, at a CAA approved PPL training school - making it the ideal place for those budding pilots looking to obtain their licence.

Information
- You need to be agile enough to get in and out of the gyrocopter
- No previous flying experience is required
- Please seek medical advice if you have previously suffered a heart condition or other medical complaint such as back or neck problems
- This experience is not suitable for pregnant mothers
- All participants must complete an information sheet and waiver prior to flying
- Spectators are welcome to watch your gyrocopter flight
- There is a clubhouse which is usually open to visitors, along with a café at weekends
