Strap yourself into a glider and brace yourself for stunning views over the Welsh coast from Prestatyn to The Great Orme. Along your relaxing journey as you float through the skies, you’ll catch glimpses of history with Gwrych castle and Conway Castle soon on the horizon. Getting into the air is nice and easy because as this is a motor glider you will self launch and not have to waste any time gaining momentum. Our expert team will be on hand to issue you a safety briefing before you grace the skies and all flights are taken with a qualified BGC flying instructor. All our team are passionate about taking people into the skies and showing you the unforgettable views. So in this experience, you can sit back, relax and enjoy the stunning Welsh views. You’ll be struggling to know where to look next as you are treated to the mountainous terrain and the ancient Denbigh and Rhuddlan castles all in this floating Grob 109B motor glider. Lleweni Parc airfield near Denbigh is situated in the perfect location for gliding as it’s right next to the Snowdonia National Park which not only gives you the backdrop of dreams, but ideal conditions for flying due to the thermals and ridge runs.
