About the experience

I was ground crew on a F4 Phantom squadron 40 years ago. When I settled into the cockpit it all came back, even the smell! This was a great experience with the instructor able to alter flight patterns to suit the "pilot's" ability.
Sharon Slee
My son had a fabulous time and Adrian was a great teacher! His patience and tuition meant my son got everything out of the experience that he could have done. Well worth it. Thank you!
Tim
All very good. Warm welcome, the good pre brief was informative and interesting. Flight interesting, well worth the experience.

I had a thoroughly enjoyable time , the experience was great and the guidance given prior to the simulator ride and during it was absolutely excellent, anybody interested in flying a jet simulator should have a go, I was given this a present but will probably purchase another go myself.

I was extreemly impressed with my instructor Mr Peter Evans. He is a true professional and it was a privilege to meet a former highly skilled Red Arrows pilot. His instructions were precise and he expertly answered my questions. I have 800 hours on Flexwing microlightsss whose flight control inputs are opposite to a three axis aircraft. My 3 axis experience was gained from my F16 flights simulator. The 60 minute session went very quickly and I did feel tired due to the concentration I needed to try and fly the Phantom. Rather reminiscant of my first flying lessons. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in aircraft, just to sit in the cockpit was a revlation. A pilot flying it has an incredible array of systems to handle as well as fly the aircraft which must take years of training. I must try to make a second visit, may suggest it be a birthday present!

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and highly recommend it! Peter Evans, my instructor, is very knowledgeable and his pre-flight briefing was both interesting and instructive. All of the simulated flights were really enjoyable and covered a wide range of "missions", including an aircraft carrier deck-landing, which was a new experience to me. My one regret was that at 80 I had some difficulty in accurately reading the instruments as the illumination in the cockpit is of low intensity, which is necessary because of the lack of brightness of the view seen through the windshield. This is true for all simulators. If you wear glasses, my recommendation would be to make sure you are wearing the right glasses to enable you to clearly read the instruments when the black cover is over the canopy. Well done, very well organised and run from start to finish, I am looking forward to having another "flight" in the not-too-distant future. Ron Johnson

Had a great time and the instruction was very clear and informative. The whole experience was very immersive and I would highly recommend to any one with an interest in flight sims or aircraft in general. Thanks for a great time!

Wonderful birthday surprise. Was a little worried as only had experience of computer flight sim programmes. Absolutely no need, everything was explained patiently and clearly. Thoroughly enjoyed the time, 20min was enough for a first session. The booking process was easy and into the blue sales team were very helpful. Thankyou

What a brilliant experience! Having absolutely no previous experience in piloting any kind of airplane, I was more than a little nervous during the briefing. However, I needn't have worried, once in the cockpit and the engines going I was totally absorbed and completely hooked. Peter, my instructor, was very knowledgeable and helped my simulator flying experience go without too many hitches. I would have liked to have landed the jet on the runway at least once but heh, you can't be perfect first time. Terrific experience, only hope I can have another 'special' gift for my 61st birthday!

A great experience - as a light aircraft PPL pilot this was the first time I've flown a motion simulator and the cockpit operation and sensations felt very realistic even down to feeling quite tired and drained at the end of the one hour flight. After a comprehensive pre-flight briefing I flew a number of take-offs and landings on an airfield and some local flying at low and high level followed by 3 approaches to a carrier where after two horrendous crashes I managed to land successfully before a catapult launch. The instructor explained everything clearly and talked me through the flight from his ground station.
