Originally opening in the 1930s it witnessed Britain change over night with the advent of WW2 where this aerodrome was requisitioned by the RAF. In the post war era, this airfield came into general aviation use and is now home to over 40 aircrafts. During this lesson you will earn how to make climbs, descents and turns as you get to grips with the controls with an expert pilot in a 2-seater Cessna 152. If you’re keen to work towards your Private Pilot Licence (PPL) this flight can count towards that, or if you want to have a more leisurely flight exploring the Romford area that's entirely possible too, as our pilots are happy to tailor each lesson to your individual needs.
