About the experience

Come to Headcorn for an unforgettable flying experience! Our vouchers offer flights in an Ikarus light sports aircraft for a thrilling landaway adventure. In the heart of Kent, Headcorn Aerodrome is the perfect location for trial flights. It boasts easy accessibility, a vibrant atmosphere, and stunning surroundings. What more could you ask for from your flying lessons? Headcorn Aerodrome has a rich history, from its origins as Shenley Farm Airfield in the 1920s to its time as RAF Lashenden during the Second World War. Today, it remains a hub of activity, with a parachuting school and the Air Warfare Museum showcasing fascinating artefacts from wartime Britain. The on-site bar (Wings) and cafe (the Holding Point) are popular with pilots and visitors, adding to the lively atmosphere. Don't miss the landaway experience, where you'll fly to Manston, take a break, and perhaps visit the Spitfire and Hurricane museum before flying back to base - two takeoffs, two landings! Book your flying lessons in Headcorn now for an adventure of a lifetime!
