First class from beginning to end. Very friendly people in a lovely location. Mark my instructor was extremely informative and very helpful. He gave me lots of confidence and made this one of the most enjoyable things Ive done in a long time. Thankyou all so much

Very accommodating as I didnt want to do the pleasure flight trip as I used to have a PPL, so they let me do three circuits, great fun. Thoroughly enjoyable and a lovely setting friendly people. Go do it

Excellent experience. A small airfield with friendly staff. I was made very welcome and talked around the plane and the controls. Takeoff was taken by the pilot but I was soon passed the controls and guided in flying the plane. It was a very hot day with lots of thermals to keep me on my toes by adjusting the trim. With a choice of destinations I chose to fly over Portsmouth Harbour, up the coast to the Witterings and back inland.
Best flying experience ever, was like an adventure, plenty of hands on flying. Highly recommend the land away experience. Saving up for another.

The arrangement had to be cancelled afew times due to the weather but the providers were veryfriendly and shared the frustration.The esperience was brilliant flying over Portsmouth Harbour to the Isle of Wight with plenty of time to take the controls.
I had a 60 minute lesson with Solent Flight who operate Icarus C42s from Lower Upham, a small grass strip near Bishops Waltham. They are a very friendly crowd, led by Andy and I was made to feel very welcome which dispelled any slight nervousness. My Instructor was relaxed and took care to explain the various controls and the necessary procedures before takeoff.Once airborne he handed control over to me and I flew the aeroplane down to Portsmouth and across the Solent to Sandown on the Island. Here the Instructor took control for a low pass over the runway before handing back to me for the return to the airfield. I entered the circuit at Lower Upham and then handed back control for the landing.I learned a great deal, had a fabulous time and cant wait to go again.
I had a great time , thanks to my brother for treating me as a special birthday gift. My pilot Paul, was very clear in his instructions and gave me many interesting details of where we were flying. The weather was the best that week so I was able to take pictures to remind me of the day. The ground crew also offered to take a few photos to capture the experience.

Everthing I hoped it would be. I had not flown for over 30 years and most of that was in gliders I therefore found that I had to concentrate to maintain the required input from the instructor who entrusted the controls to me for the entire flight apart frpm take off and landing. a really professional delivery by the instructor.

Fab my pilot was very good and knowledgeable about the area we flew over
I just had my flight today and couldnt have enjoyed it more. The weather was perfect and my pilot nick was fantastic. He accommodated a flight over the needles and he was fantastic at explaining everything along the way. Cant recommend the experience highly enough. I cant imagine anyone who wouldnt love it..... Obviously excluding fear of heights Long and short if youre thinking of it for someone just go ahead and book with these guys.. You wont go wrong.
