Your mission will vary depending on the simulator you select. The Lynx helicopter challenges you to fly at high speeds, low altitudes, and with precision. The F-35B Lightning focuses on the intricacies of landing on an aircraft carrier in the middle of the sea, while the Spitfire offers a deep dive into mastering its complex controls. Lynx Helicopter
- 15 Minute briefing covering aerodynamics, flight controls and instruments
- 45 Minute simulator session in the Lynx
- Choice of scenarios and airports to take off an land at
F35-B Lightning Jet
- 10 Minute briefing covering aerodynamics, flight controls and instruments
- 50 Minute simulator session in the F35-B
- Choice of scenarios and airports or ships to take off from and land at
Spitfire MK IX
- All sessions start with a short briefing and 30 minutes on a training simulator, getting you familiar with flight instruments, start up, taxi, take off, flight controls and landing
- Training sessions are designed to prepare you for your flight in the Spitfire
- Choose from several scenarios for your spitfire session including a Battle of Britain Dogfight, choice of World War Two airfields and many more
Information
- Under 18s must be accompanied by a spectating adult
- Participants will require a good degree of mobility, balance and coordination
- No wheelchair access
- Experiences are available throughout the year
- Sessions run from Tuesdays to Saturdays
- Sessions are available between 9am and 5pm
Minimum Age: 10 years
- One person may accompany you in the simulator as a spectator for no additional charge (standing room only)
- There is a waiting area for additional people (maximum of 4) must be pre-booked
- This is a fixed base/static simulator and does not move
