About the experience

If you and a friend, family member or loved one live in and around Newcastle - or perhaps you're visiting in the area and fancy seeing the pride of the North East from the air - then this unique experience taking flight in a private chartered executive helicopter for two to do some aerial sightseeing of Newcastle together should tick all the boxes! Get ready as both of you will be taking flight from Newcastle International Airport, choppering up the A1 motorway towards arguably the best known landmark to welcome resident Geordies home to the city, which is of course the majestic Angel of the North. Zooming over Birtley and Ouston, past the Nissan car manufacturing plant at Washington, you'll take in the coastline that includes South Shields and Marsden Bay, meeting the point where the sea flows into the estuary of the River Tyne. Catching sight of the three bridges - the Tyne Bridge, the High Level Metro Bridge and the Millennium Bridge at Gateshead will be all the visual confirmation to know you're in Newcastle, along with other legendary landmarks such as Grey's Monument, the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art and the Metro Arena, and of course, no aerial tour of Newcastle is complete (certainly not for footie fans) without a flight over St. James' Park. Come on the Magpies!
