About the experience
A Saturday experience to Fly a 'Top Gun' sortie with a fighter pilot in a military training aircraft. The experiences takes places on Saturdays, taking off from Goodwood Airfield. You'll take the controls many times on the flight and experience close formation, learn to fly aerobatics, military manoeuvres and tail chasing. This adrenaline fuelled flying experience is not for the faint hearted - although flights are tailored to the individual.
Flights in a military T67 Firefly aircraft
- Take off for a thrilling aerial dogfight
- Based out of Goodwood Aerodrome in West Sussex
- Ground briefing inc parachute procedures
- Ground briefing is approximately 40 minutes and includes all safety/parachute procedures
- After a formation take off you'll be doing most of the flying as you learn the effects of aircraft controls and aerobatic manoeuvres. Then it's time for air combat against your opponent
- Debrief including the amount of g pulled, a review of the air combat results
- Signed flight certificate
- Opportunity to purchase a USB recording of your flight (around £49)
You can expect to be at the venue for 2-3 hours. Flights are approximately 45 minutes long.

Information
- Over 71's will need a doctors confirmation that you are fit to fly, and take part in this experience
- You will be required to complete a medical self certification form before flying
- Light flat shoes with good grip must be worn - trainers are ideal
- You will be kitted out with genuine military flying suits - please wear comfortable casual clothes to go underneath
- Changing facilities are limited
- Cameras are not allowed on board the aircraft

Flights take place most Saturdays, March - October inclusive.
- Participants are welcome to bring up to two guests who may attend all briefings (subject to space)
- Additional guests are allowed, however, they may not be accommodated in the crew room
- It is not recommended to bring children to the airfield
- Refreshments are provided for flyers
- There is a restaurant on site which serves excellent food
- Aerobatic flights do not take place over the airfield, but spectators will be able to watch take off and landing of the aircraft
All flights are subject to weather conditions. It is essential you call the weather line provided in your confirmation before you set out.

This experience was amazing. I loved every minute of it, Right from the start I was made to feel welcome and the experience was purely tailored to my requirements. In the plane Mike was great fun doing all kinds of tricks and flicks. All the way through I was asked if I wanted to do the trick and was only to keen but never felt under pressure to do them.

A fantastic Experience. My Son enjoyed this very special flight from start to finish. The whole team were lovely; Calm, Experienced, Professional, Kind and Thoughtful. The teaching was clear and confident. We were so lucky to have such beautiful weather for the flight too. The recording of the experience is well worth the purchase for us to see what happened during the flight, it looked incredible. We all would like to go back for a go. It was well worth the very long drive for Yorkshire.
