Experience the thrill of flying with our 60-minute flying lesson in a two-seater aircraft from Norwich International Airport in Norfolk. The lessons are based out of the Business Aviation Centre, providing a vibrant atmosphere overlooking the runway, ideal for flying enthusiasts. You'll take to the skies in a Pipistrel Explorer, a versatile and well-equipped light sports aircraft known for its excellent cross-country capabilities. These aircraft are not only easy to fly but also incredibly enjoyable, making them a favourite among pilots. Departing from Norwich Airport, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Norfolk coast and countryside during your lesson. What's more, these trial flying lessons invite you to take the controls and experience the incredible sensation of flying firsthand.

- Minimum age is 14 years
- Under 18s must be accompanied on the airfield by an adult
- Maximum height of 6ft 4ins
- Two-seater maximum weight limit of 16 stone
- A photographic ID may be requested on the day.
- Experiences are available on most weekdays and weekends throughout the year
- Your booking will be rescheduled in the case of bad weather
- Please check on the morning of your flight to ensure weather conditions are suitable

The pilot instructor was an excellent communicator and a thorough professional. I asked if we could fly over my home town which was about 15mins away which was achieved with two circles than back to Norwich airport.
As a first flight experience I hadn't appreciated radio communication between student and the pilot would be quite restricted as the control tower comms naturally took precedent. This reduced my opportunity to ask for more hands on time as I would have liked to make more directional change manoeuvres to get a better feel.

From the second we arrived to the second we left this was a fantastic and truly personal experience. I've done experience days before and it's just queue, queue, queue, but this was just myself, my gf as the passenger and Ross, our instructor. From the briefing to blocks off to landing everything ran like clockwork and was flawless. The overall flying experience was an absolute treat and I was amazed at how much time I had control. I'm sure I'll be booking again.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. This was a present for my husband but I was able to go as well.
After a very informative briefing we were taken to the airfield for our flight, we took off from Norwich and flew straight to the coast, following the coast line to Bacton then headed back inland. My husband loved every second of it. Richard our pilot was fantastic really made the day, thank you.

Huge thanks to all at Into the Blue and Premiere Flight Training at Norwich. Everyone so helpful and friendly. First booking fell foul of conditions but rebooked without any problem at all. Turned up on the day to be met by my instructor who was very thorough on the safety briefing without being overpowering. Discussed what was the best plan to fulfill my hopes during the flight. Again a very thorough briefing on the aircraft and preflight planning checklist, all of which was a lot to take in from my previous flying in the 1960s! After clearing Norwich we were treated to the wonderful views of North Norfolk. I am sure John was sitting on his hands as he patiently talked me into resurrecting some of my dormant flying skills some with greater or lesser success! The remainder of the hour flew past very rapidly and enjoyably. Very, very good value for money and very enjoyable. Absolutely shattered at the end of it with that level of concentration. Would recommend this experience for anyone. You can try as little or as much as you want. Thanks again to all and in particular John Whightman.

I have just completed a1hr flying lesson out of Norwich Airport. This was bought for me as a "big birthday" present and has to be one of the best presents I've ever had. It was an amazing experience and something I would like to do again and again! As it was a four seater aircraft my son was able to occupy the back seat and hopefully he got some good photos. All the staff are very welcoming and my pilot instructor David was brilliant.This is the second time I've been as my son actually did a flight this time last year for his 16th birthday (again with David). You get to take control for long periods and unless you've experienced it it's hard to explain just how great it is. If you don't mind flying this is something which is a must and should be on your list of things to do!

My Pilot was great. Very friendly and informative. I'd been been bought the lesson as a birthday gift and it was more an experience than a lesson. My pilot allowed my son to sit in the back and took us out over the coast, it was a beautiful day and the view was remarkable.
