London high up for sky bound city dwellers

Adventurous Londoners are the most likely city dwellers in the UK to take to the skies with an adrenaline packed flying experience.

Indeed, according to our latest booking figures here at FlyDays, residents of the English capital are now accounting for 1 in 6 of all bookings.

This is four times as many bookings as the next most popular city, Birmingham, which accounts for just 1 in 25 of bookings, and Manchester, which is the third most popular city and accounts for just 1 in 33 of bookings.

Dan Jones, operations manager at FlyDays, says: "Of course, you'd expect more actual bookings to come from London residents as there are more of them compared to any other UK city, however, the number of bookings is proportionally higher.

"This would indicate that Londoners are more likely to grasp the opportunity of a flying experience rather than city dwellers in other parts of the UK."

Helicopter Rides experiences make up the bulk of packages that let people fly over London and take in some of its world famous sights, including Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral.
