About the experience

Calling all thrill seekers in Swansea. This is your chance to experience a tandem skydive above the stunning Gower Peninsula, jumping from Swansea Airport with a highly experienced skydiving team. Whether it is something you have always wanted to tick off the bucket list, a birthday surprise, or you are raising money for charity, your first skydive is guaranteed to deliver an unforgettable rush. The Swansea team has been running skydives here since 2007 and the whole operation runs smoothly from start to finish. On the day you will be supported by far more than just your instructor. From the friendly welcome team on the ground to the technicians, pilots and photographers behind the scenes, everyone is there to make sure your jump is safe, exciting and memorable. Before heading into the sky, you will take part in around 40 minutes of ground training so you know exactly what to expect. Then it is time to board the aircraft for the 15 minute flight up to 15,000ft. The door opens, your instructor counts you down, and suddenly you are flying through the air at around 120mph with up to 60 seconds of incredible freefall. Once the parachute opens, the pace slows and you can enjoy the view as you glide back towards the landing zone. The Gower Peninsula stretches out beneath you with its famous beaches, rugged cliffs and beautiful coastline creating a truly spectacular backdrop. Touch down back on solid ground and there is a good chance your first words will be something along the lines of “that was amazing”. Most people are already thinking about doing it all over again before they have even taken the harness off.
