About the experience
Soar like a bird in an aerotow glider on this Gliding Experience that will take you 3000ft up in the air! This experience is exclusively hosted at Sandhill Farm Airfield, which is located on the border where Wiltshire meets Oxfordshire. This airfield boasts a lively and friendly gliding club of around 40 regular members, which operates under the official guidelines and fleet maintenance set out by the British Gliding Association. You'll be flying in one of two Schleicher ASK13 tandem trainer gliders, housed in the small on-site hangar along with the Piper Pawnee tug which will be towing you into the air. A fully qualified gliding instructor will be conducting your lesson as you learn and master the basic gliding skills and manoeuvring the glider up in the air. The club members will also be able to let you know more about things like signalling and logging when you're down on the ground.

- Flight duration is approximately 20 - 25 minutes for 3,000ft lessons

- Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult
- There is a maximum weight limit of 16st
- Maximum height limit of 6'3''
- Warm outdoor clothing is recommended
- You must be able to meet the same medical requirements for driving a car
- Spectators are welcome
