At your choice of one of two renowned airfields in West Sussex - Goodwood Aerodrome or Shoreham Airport - you'll arrive and meet with your qualified pilot and instructor. And whilst the aircraft may look like a conventional light aircraft, beneath the interior is not a traditional combustion engine but a clean, liquid cooled electric system. And thus there's no need to prepare the engine for take off as would normally be the case - it's just powering up and taxiing out onto the runway. And once you're airborne, you'll notice the difference too, because the engine is that much quieter and thus there's less noise in the cockpit to contend with. Your pilot will sit by your side as you take in the impressive LCD display that showcases all the data on your electric powertrain, as you fly effortlessly over the South Coast and surrounding area. And with zero carbon emissions, it also means that this is one experience that environmentally mindful aviation enthusiasts will want to book on for too.
