Light Sport Aircraft Landaway Flying Experience
About the experience
Discover the thrill of flying over Brighton, East Sussex, in a light sports aircraft. You'll soar over stunning coastlines, rolling countryside, and ancient woodlands, all connected by a lovely patchwork of fields. Our highly qualified instructing team, including ex-RAF fighter pilots and commercial captains, is dedicated to teaching nervous beginners the art of flying with enthusiasm and humour. Located at Deanland Airfield, just North East of Brighton, our airfield has a rich history, including being a departure point for the very first airplane providing cover for the D-Day landings. Our discreet and charming airfield, owned and run by two families, is the ideal base for microlighting, offering a friendly and quiet environment with no waiting for takeoff slots. Our fleet of aircraft consists of lightweight, modern, high-tech Ikarus C42 sports aircraft, providing breathtaking panoramic views across East Sussex and beyond. Taking control of these sensitive and light aircraft during your flight will give you a proper first lesson in flying.
