Berrier is an independently owned Airfield, located just inside of the Lake District National Park and is the only airfield within the famous Lakeland park area. With an impressive backdrop with the high peak of Blencathra peeking over the airstrip at 2848ft tall.
The airfield is owned by the North West Gyroplane Club which was founded by Roger in 1995. Founder Roger - who still delivers flying lessons, has been a pilot for more than 40 years with over 9,000 flying hours experience.
Being in the heart of the Lakes means impressive views are spectacular and are perfect for the flying course you will embark on. As soon as your wheels take off of the ground, you are instantly surrounded by grazing sheep, peaks of mountains, lakes and farms, there is so much beauty to see.
