Vintage biplane fanatics will be in their element with this unique 15 Minute Flight for Two in a Thruxton Jackaroo biplane! Located at Headcorn Aerodrome in Kent - an area well noted for vintage aviation, particularly nearby Biggin Hill which played a pivotal role during World War II - you and a friend, family member or loved one will have the chance to take flight together in this very rare biplane, of which only 19 were ever built. Its full official name is the DH82A (Mod) Jackaroo, which is the biggest indicator - if any were needed - of its origins, as it actually started life as a converted deHavilland Tiger Moth, offering tourer experiences at a time after the war when many imported goods - planes included - were banned or in short supply. And what makes this experience all the more special is that it's believed to be the only one of its kind still in flightworthy condition in the world. The feeling of post-war aviation is thoughtfully and carefully preserved throughout this experience, right down to the plane itself which has retained its classic blue and silver livery. All in all, this four seater vintage flight is quite unlike any other either of you'll have been on before!
