Before you know it you will be in the rig securely strapped in ready to fly. Now be prepared, it may hit you, when you reach 10ft above the ground, but don’t panic. You do know what you are doing and no it wasn’t a bad decision, you will love it! You will also get the chance to perform a 10 minute routine in a series of flypasts and a daring dive from 500ft and perform your final manoeuvres. As you perform a final run and break coming in to land. Warning: You may have jelly legs, snotty nose and windblown hair, but hey that’s part of the fun!

You will receive an in depth briefing on the day of your flight and have the opportunity to ask any questions before signing a disclaimer, confirmation of briefing and risk acceptance.

Itinerary

Welcome and sign in
Wing walker training session which includes safety awareness and instruction on the use of the rig and seatbelts.
Up into the air you go!
Enjoy flying around and getting used to the plane
10 minute display as you stand on the wing of the Boeing Stearman Biplane.
Enjoy speeds of up to 135mph
Final run and break
Land

Suitability

Wing walkers must be under 85kg (13 stone 3lbs)
There is no height restrictions for this experience
Minimum age is 18, there is no upper age limit but over 65's must have a doctors note
You must be able and fit enough to climb up the aircraft to the Rig on the top wing (approximately 10 feet)
This experience is approved by the CAA and you are permitted to raise money or be sponsored whilst Wing Walking at this location
Please be aware that wing walking carries a higher risk than a 'normal' airline flight and these risks will be clearly explained to you on the day
A form is required should you have any medical conditions or be on any medication
You are welcome to bring spectators along with you to watch your wing walking display
Catering options are available for larger groups upon request
There will be great photo and video opportunities throughout
The airfield has a clubhouse and café onsite
